　私たちの日々は何気ない、けれども愛すべき人々やものに囲まれています。四季折々の美しい草花や器、おいしいお菓子、家族や仲間との楽しいおしゃべり。

　茶道はむずかしい印象を受けるかもしれませんが、私はそうは思っていません。大切なことは「相手を思いやる心」であり、それを心の軸に置いて、日々の生活の中に茶道を様々な形で取り入れることは、楽しく豊かな人生を送るための秘訣だと思っています。

　茶道をしてみたい。大好きな抹茶の魅力をもっと知りたい。美しい和菓子を美味しく食べたい。季節折々のお花を飾りたい。日本文化を体験してみたい。茶道を通して外国人と話してみたい。

茶道に興味をもつきっかけは何でもいいと思います。新しい扉を開けてみると、まだ知らなかった世界がたくさんあることをきっと発見するでしょう。

　そしてまた、「相手を思いやる心」は巡り巡って、「自分を思いやる心」にもつながると思っています。茶道は忙しい現代人の心の癒しにもなるのではないでしょうか。

　古来より日本人の生活文化に大きな影響を与えてきた茶道。

長年にわたり日本人のDNAに染みわたるように組み込まれてきた独自の精神性は、唯一無二の存在であり、とても神秘的です。私が日本に惹かれ学び続ける理由は、そこにあると言っても過言ではありません。

　自己紹介の『一期一会』コラムに書きましたが、私は日本と出会えたことで、素晴らしい経験をさせて頂きました。

日本文化の素晴らしさを、私というフィルターを通して、日本だけでなく海外にも広げ、つなげたい。まだスタート地点に立ったばかりですが、少しずつできることから日本に恩返ししたいと思っております。

In our everyday lives, we are surrounded by innocuous yet lovable people and things. Attractive seasonal flowers and utensils, delicious sweets, the joy of chatting with family and friends.

The tea ceremony is considered a comprehensive art form of Japan. This is because it incorporates various seasonaly changing aspects such as; tea utensils, hanging scrolls, flower arrangement, kimono, Japanese confections, gardens, etc. On the surface, the tea ceremony seems difficult and complicated, but essentially, It’s not. The most important factor is a “spirit of consideration.” and I believe that incorporating the tea ceremony into your daily life in various forms is the secret to living a fun and prosperous life.

I want to experience the tea ceremony. I want to increase my knowledge of matcha’s charms. I want to deliciously eat beautiful Japanese sweets. I want to arrange seasonal flowers. I want to experience Japanese culture. through the tea ceremony, I want to interact with foreigners.

Whatever triggers your interest in the tea ceremony is ok in my book. When you open a new door, you will surely discover an uncharted world awaiting you.

I also believe that this “spirit of consideration” “pay it forward” comes around full and pays you back “a spirit of consideration for yourself. The tea ceremony is a way for buisy modern everyday people may to healing themselves.

Japan’s tea ceremony has had a great influence on the lifestyle and culture of Japan since ancient times. The unique spirituality that has become ingrained in the Japanese DNA over the years is distinct/unique and enigmatic/mysterious. Without exaggeration, I can say this is the main reason I was attracted to Japan in the first place, and it is also the reason I continue to learn.

In my column titled "Ichigo Ichie,“ (One chance, one encounter) I introduced about my wonderful experience encountering Japan. Through the filter of my experiences, I want to spread and connect the splendor of Japanese culture both domestically and internationally. This is only the beginning, a humble way for me to progressively pay back Japan what it has given me. As we turn thought into action, please join me I this goal.
